IP address.
Browser type and characteristics.

Pages visited.
Referral information.
Approximate geographical location inferred from technical information.
Website interaction and usage information.
Some of this information may constitute personal data under UK data protection law.
3.4 Device-Derived Visitor Identifiers
Our website platform generates a device-derived identifier, sometimes described as a fingerprint, to support its built-in website statistics.
This processing is explained in more detail in Section 6.
3.5 Cookies and Preference Information
We may collect information relating to cookies and similar technologies, including your cookie consent preferences.
Further information is provided in Section 7.
3.6 Sensitive Personal Information
Our current Coming Soon website is not intended to collect special category personal data, such as information about health, religious beliefs or other sensitive matters.
Please avoid including sensitive personal information in general enquiries unless it is necessary.
4. How We Use Your Information
We may use personal information for the following purposes.
4.1 Responding to Enquiries
We use the information you provide to respond to questions, enquiries and requests.
4.2 Managing Expressions of Interest
We use information submitted through our website to manage expressions of interest in The Father Identity and its future services.
4.3 Email Marketing and Communications
Where you have provided appropriate consent, we may send you email communications about The Father Identity, including updates, announcements, content, products or services.
Our website signup form includes a consent checkbox that must be actively selected before a marketing subscription can be submitted.
We do not treat an unticked checkbox as consent.
We do not use an email address provided solely for an enquiry to send unrelated marketing unless we have an appropriate legal basis and comply with applicable electronic marketing rules.
4.4 Unsubscribing From Marketing Emails
You can withdraw your consent to marketing emails at any time.
Our marketing emails are intended to include an unsubscribe link that allows you to stop receiving further marketing communications.
You can also request removal from marketing communications by emailing:
When you unsubscribe through our email system, the system records your request and marks your contact record to prevent further marketing emails.
We may retain limited information about your unsubscribe request where necessary to ensure that your preferences continue to be respected.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before your withdrawal.
4.5 Website Operation and Security
We may process technical information to operate, maintain, protect and secure our website.
4.6 Website Statistics and Improvements
Our website platform provides visitor statistics intended to help us understand website activity and improve our content and services.
Certain aspects of this processing remain under review because of the platform's automatic device fingerprinting.
Further information is provided in Section 6.
4.7 Legal and Administrative Purposes
We may process personal information where necessary to comply with legal obligations, maintain appropriate records or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
5. Our Lawful Bases for Processing
Under UK GDPR, we must identify an appropriate lawful basis for processing personal information.
The lawful basis depends on the purpose of the processing.
Responding to enquiries
We may rely on legitimate interests or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, depending on the circumstances.
Managing expressions of interest
We may rely on consent, legitimate interests or steps taken at your request, depending on the nature of the interaction.
Sending marketing emails
Where required, we rely on your consent to send electronic marketing communications.
We also seek to comply with the separate requirements of PECR governing electronic marketing.
Maintaining website security
We may rely on legitimate interests or applicable legal obligations.
Recording marketing and cookie preferences
We may rely on legitimate interests, legal obligations or another appropriate lawful basis, depending on the processing involved.
Website analytics and visitor fingerprinting
The appropriate lawful basis and compliance with PECR requirements for certain automatic visitor-tracking activities have not yet been satisfactorily established.
This issue remains under review with our website provider.
Complying with legal obligations
We rely on the legal obligation lawful basis where processing is necessary to meet applicable legal requirements.
Important Distinction Between UK GDPR and PECR
An appropriate lawful basis under UK GDPR does not automatically remove the need to comply with PECR.
Certain cookies and similar technologies require consent unless a relevant exemption applies.
We are reviewing whether our website platform's automatic visitor fingerprinting meets these requirements.
6. Website Analytics and Visitor Fingerprinting
Our website is hosted and operated using Mastermind, which uses underlying LeadConnector technology.
The platform provides built-in website statistics, including information about:
Page views.
Visitor numbers.
Traffic sources.
Website activity.
6.1 How the Fingerprinting Works
According to information provided to us by Mastermind, its analytics system generates a device-derived fingerprint using technical information, potentially including IP address information.
This identifier is used to distinguish visits and support website statistics.
During our technical testing, we observed page-view events containing a fingerprint identifier being transmitted to:
backend.leadconnectorhq.com/stats/event
Mastermind has advised us that this system is intended for first-party website analytics and that the fingerprint itself does not rely on a persistent cookie.
However, technologies that identify or distinguish devices may still be subject to data protection and electronic privacy requirements, even where conventional cookies are not used.
6.2 What Happens When You Reject Optional Cookies
Our testing has shown that the platform's automatic visitor fingerprinting continues when a visitor selects “Reject Optional” in our cookie consent banner.
This means rejecting optional cookies does not currently prevent this particular analytics processing.
We believe it is important to explain this limitation clearly.
6.3 Current Platform Limitation
Mastermind has advised us that its current platform does not provide a built-in technical mechanism to disable this fingerprinting or honour an individual objection to that particular processing.
We have raised this issue with our website provider and are seeking further clarification.
We have not yet established a satisfactory legal and technical basis for all aspects of this processing.
We therefore do not claim that our current cookie consent arrangements fully control this particular tracking activity.
6.4 Our Ongoing Review
We are reviewing:
Whether the fingerprinting requires prior consent under PECR.
Whether an applicable exemption is available.
The appropriate UK GDPR lawful basis.
The information collected and its purposes.
How long the information is retained.
Whether individual objections can be implemented.
Whether the tracking can be disabled or modified.
We will update this policy where appropriate as further information becomes available.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
7.1 What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites may place on your device.
They can support website functionality, remember preferences, provide security features and help website operators understand visitor activity.
Websites may also use other technologies to recognise devices or analyse website usage.
These technologies can be subject to privacy requirements even where they do not store conventional cookies.
7.2 Our Cookie Consent Banner
Our website uses a cookie consent banner that allows visitors to choose between:
Accept All
Reject Optional
Manage Preferences
The banner is configured to request consent for optional cookies.
Your preference is recorded so that the website can remember your choice.
However, as explained in Section 6, rejecting optional cookies does not currently stop Mastermind's automatic visitor fingerprinting.
7.3 Cookies and Identifiers Observed During Testing
During our website testing, we observed the following cookies or identifiers.
cookie-config
Provider or association: Mastermind consent banner.
Purpose: Records the visitor's cookie preference.
Observed values have included all and essential.
__cf_bm
Provider or association: Cloudflare.
Purpose: Associated with bot management and website security.
msgsndr_id
Provider or association: LeadConnector.
Purpose or status: A visitor or session identifier. Its precise purpose, duration and operation require further confirmation from the platform provider.
Google Analytics-style cookies
Cookies with names such as ga and ga_* were previously observed.
However, we have not established their source or whether they are currently being used on our Coming Soon page.
Recent testing did not identify active Google Analytics requests on that page.
We therefore cannot confirm that Google Analytics is currently operating there.
OneTrust-style cookies
Cookies with names such as OptanonConsent and related identifiers were previously observed.
Their source and current use have not been established.
7.4 Limitations of Our Cookie Inventory
The information above reflects cookies and identifiers observed during testing.
It is not yet a verified or exhaustive inventory.
Cookies and similar technologies may vary depending on:
The pages visited.
Website functionality.
Third-party services.
Browser settings.
Previous visits.
Changes made by our website platform provider.
We are continuing to seek clarification about the cookies and tracking technologies used by our platform.
7.5 Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can use the Cookie Preferences link in our website footer, where available, to reopen the consent banner and change your selection.
You can also manage or delete cookies using your browser settings.
Please note that changing your preferences may not automatically remove cookies previously stored on your device.
Important: Rejecting optional cookies does not currently stop the platform's automatic device fingerprinting described in Section 6.
7.6 Objecting to Analytics Processing
You may contact us at:
to raise a privacy concern or object to processing where applicable.
However, Mastermind has advised that its current platform does not provide a technical mechanism to stop its built-in visitor fingerprinting for an individual visitor.
We are investigating this limitation and cannot currently promise that an objection will immediately prevent this particular collection.
This disclosure does not restrict your statutory rights.
8. Sharing Your Information
We may share personal information with trusted service providers where necessary to operate our website and business.
These may include:
Mastermind
Our website hosting and business platform provider.
LeadConnector
An underlying technology provider supporting website functionality, contact management, email communications and analytics.

We aim to ensure that appropriate contractual and data protection arrangements are in place where required.
We may also disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal information.
9. International Transfers
Some of our technology providers may process or store personal information outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, we aim to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place as required by UK data protection law.
Depending on the circumstances, these may include:
Transfers to countries recognised as providing adequate protection.
Appropriate contractual safeguards.
Other lawful transfer mechanisms.
The specific processing locations and international transfer safeguards used by Mastermind and LeadConnector still require confirmation.
We are seeking further information from our providers about these arrangements.
10. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including applicable legal, accounting and reporting requirements.
Retention periods depend on the nature of the information and the purpose of processing.
10.1 Enquiries
We retain enquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the enquiry, manage any subsequent relationship and meet applicable legal requirements.
10.2 Marketing Subscriptions
We may retain subscription information while you remain subscribed to our marketing communications.
If you unsubscribe, we may retain a limited record of your email address and unsubscribe status to help prevent further unwanted marketing communications.
10.3 Marketing Consent Records
We may retain records of marketing consent and changes to consent for an appropriate period where necessary to demonstrate compliance with applicable requirements.
10.4 Website Analytics
We are seeking confirmation from Mastermind and LeadConnector regarding the retention periods applied to visitor fingerprints and underlying analytics events.
10.5 Other Information
Where applicable, we consider factors such as legal obligations, the nature of the information, the reason for processing and the potential risks associated with continued retention.
We aim to delete or anonymise personal information when it is no longer reasonably required.

Under UK data protection law, you may have the following rights, depending on the circumstances:
